A New Dawn in the Shadowlands.
The Tiger-Folk of the Narwood. A majestic if somewhat savage people. The Tiger-Folk of the northern Narwoods are a race more at home with their surroundings then the rest of the dale. They are separated into 3 distinctive sub races. The Bangle: The Bangle are a the most massive of the 3 species. They are heavily muscled and have very stocky bodies. They have long haired coats of deep reds and blacks. Their eyes tend towards stark yellows and blues. The Rose-Mane: The Rose-Mane are the smallest. They rarely top 8 feet and never weigh in at more then 300 pounds. They are a very lithe and dexterous people. They have mostly white pelts but the tips are fringed with rose reds and oranges banded with soft greys. Their eyes are strange jewel like things appearing as if they were made of precious stones like rubies or sapphires. They are on average 6-7 feet tall and weigh proportional to that in the 250-300 range. although extremes do exist. The Siberians: The Siberians are the most common of the 3. They have a mix of sizes and body builds. Their fur is almost always pure white with black stripes. their eyes seem to resemble the bangles in shades and hues but lack the intensity. The 3 races are fully intermingled and yet divided at the same time. They live in a class based society with the Bangles(who make up but a small fraction of the Tiger-Folk population) as hunt leaders and in desperate times Generals. The bangles tend to be backed by the Rose-Manes(whom also make up a small portion of the population) who are connected deeply with spirit world and lead all the tribes as druids and shamans. The Siberians(are by far the most numerous) are sub servant to the other two classes. They make up the general population of hunters and the work force of the Tribes.
